Middle aged man needs longterm crew for Pageant based on tidal Penryn River. Beginner or experienced, prefer midweek, day or overnighters. Gentle cruising, very flexible with a love of messing about on boats. If interested lets discus ideas.

Seeking Crewing Opportunity  

Seeking Westerly Fulmar crewing. Looking to be boat owner to sail alone, robust enough to cruise around UK, & cruising & social racing. Westerly Fulmar may meet my needs. Experience highlights: 20 annual cruising Hunter boats on Broads (skipper); Annual social French racing over 10 years (crew); Clipper 2000 from Cuba westwards to UK (crew); RYA Mileage building from Oban to Southampton (skipper); From River Orwell to West Country, along & across Channel (crew); Fastnet Race 2007: completed (crew); Yachtmaster: theory & practical. Fit retired 61 year old.

Cruising French canals to MED  

I am planning a cruise through France to the Med from Plymouth and via Le Havre between April & September 2011 for 5/6 months. Boat currently lying on swinging mooring on Tamar. I would be very interested to hear from anyone interested in sharing this experience aboard a 26ft Bilge keel Centaur, specially purchased for this purpose. Sailing experience preferred but not essential. I would consider a sailing partner or to accompany another vessel with same intent.

Round Britian Sailing  

I hope to sail my Oceanquest Synarchy around the UK in 2010. The strategy is long day sails, with occasional overnighters for longer passages, stopping in Marinas wherever possible. We will split the trip into legs of around 10 days with a chance to do half legs. The boat can accommodate a crew of 4, has 2 heads and diesel heating.

Leg 1: 30/4 – 9/5, Hythe to Milford Haven. Leg 2: 17/6 – 27/6 Milford Haven to Oban. Please indicate which legs are of interest; any comments welcome. I am happy to pay boat expenses and suggest a kitty for food, diesel, etc

I keep the boat at Port Solent and cruise the waters of the Solent and beyond. I day sail on Fridays mostly to Cowes or Bembridge, weekends are spent crusing to ports close by and holidays of 1-2 weeks are also possible. The choice is yours!
Some sailing experience preferred and a willingness to take part!
