The Westerly Owners' Association - Insurance Scheme

The WOA act as Introducers for Navigators & General (N&G) and are able to make you aware of an exclusive insurance scheme that has been set up by N&G for members

There is an exclusive insurance package available to WOA members with Navigators & General, the UK’s leading yacht and motorboat insurers, part of the Zurich Group. This has been running successfully now for over 12 years with over 600 members covered, previously through Dove & Butler Ltd but now directly with Navigators & General as Dove & Butler Ltd are no longer handling marine business.

Navigators & General advise that the service, cover and security are amongst the best available in the market and WOA members benefit from a further 10% discount off current premiums due to the support you give to this Scheme and the good claims record it has.

The main features of this package are summarised below:-

  • Extended cruising range, including Eire and Brittany.
  • Survey only required for Westerly craft over 20 years old.
  • Medical expenses of up to £500.
  • Get your home cover of up to £1000.
  • Automatic personal accident cover whilst on board for owner and guests.
  • Protected No Claims Bonus.
  • Free racing risks cover for WOA organised events.

The discount you receive will more than pay for your WOA membership and your support will help keep the Scheme competitive and allow the insurers to support WOA events.
