| This short shaft outboard has had very little use and has been very reliable. Last professionally overhauled in 2009 when new impellor fitted. Starts easily but runs hot as it needs de-calcifying which is about two hours work. It comes with a twin that can be used for spares. The spare is minus the head that was previously removed. Mainsail and genoa from Westerly Oceanlord 41. Both sails are from Ratsey & Lapthorne, made in 1989, but stored ashore for the last 13 years. They are in good serviceable condition.
Main Loose footed for in-mast furling. Dimensions: Luff 12.45M, Foot 4.05M, Leech 13.36M. Weight = 16 kg.
Genoa Hoists into a groove in a self furling gear. Dimensions: Luff 14.50M, Foot 7.62M, Leech 14.50m. Weight 20kg.

| Although still hanked, this sail could be easily fitted with a bolt rope to suit a roller reefing system's extrusion and would be a useful 'moderate weather' sail for going to windward efficiently and more upright. | 2 blade left hand 18x15 for 25mm shaft. (I don't know what taper.) Needs a clean as it is covered with calcium type scale. I had two for the cost of an RNLI donation (from a WOA member), but only need one as an emergency spare. You can have this as an emergency spare for carriage cost (I would think about £10) and a donation to Saint Ives RNLI station. Carriage or pick up from West Cornwall. |
