The Westerly Owners' Association - Bristol Channel Group

We would be grateful for help and suggestions for events in the Bristol Channel area.

If there is anyone who would like to organise a small scale event, somewhere in the area, during the season, please contact . The Membership Administration Office will happily provide support in contacting members with boats in the area, and the necessary labels or email addresses to contact them.

Future Events for WOA Members

Alan Elliott, who has a Pageant based in Portishead marina, has recently joined the organising team. He is keen to receive suggestions from the membership of the Bristol Channel group regarding the type of events that they would like to participate in during 2010. Report on Recent Events

Twenty seven members of Bristol Channel Group met for lunch at the Cardiff Bay Yacht Club on 22nd February 2008. Normally based as far afield as Milford Haven and The River Axe at Weston-Super-Mare, the group enjoyed a good roast lunch and the excellent company of fellow members of WOA. Nick Koops also welcomed the Commodore, Brian Easteal, and his wife Denise. After lunch the group resolved to organise a summer rally on the South Wales coast, and to meet again for lunch late in the year.
