Summer Cruise 2012

We are planning a cruise to Strangford Lough on the first weekend in June which is a long weekend because it is the end of May bank holiday and Tuesday is a holiday to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

The outline plan at the moment is;

Friday 1st June (or before) and Saturday 2nd June, arrive Strangford.

Saturday 2nd June, moor at Quoile Yacht Club where we have been invited to a Ceilidh in the evening for approx £12 per person which covers a 2-course meal and live music. Quoile YC is at the south end of the Lough.

Sunday 3rd June, move to Down Cruising Club, about half way up the Lough on the west side, for an event not yet fixed but probably a BBQ.

Monday 4th June, again not yet fixed but might be a picnic on an island.

Tuesday 5th June, depart for home.
