Autohelm on Tempest

I have recently purchased a fin keel Tempest and am told that the Autohelm does not work effectively on this model when she is under sail. Can anyone advise me on overcoming this problem?

This sounds unlikely to me. I have a raymarine st1000 which has a plethora of settings to cope with any boat. You'll just need to fiddle around with it until you get the right setup....

As well as playing with the settings on the Auto helm it's worth having the rig reasonably well balanced so it's not having to work too hard.
